My last H1 transfer gave me a 3yr H1 approval. But in reality, this will make it 1 year more than the 6 years allowed. My Perm and 140 are approved before the 6th year ended and my company filed a H1B amendment request just a day before 6th year ended. It is still pending. Now, my wife is in india and she has to get back here for filing 485 in july. Can I use my existing H1 to apply for visa in this situation?

Pew confirms what we've already assumed is happening. The number of illegally present immigrants has dropped 8% since 2007. The number is now about 11 million, down from peaking at 12 million. I have an approved I 140 application and I485 not applied as the dates are not current. I have an opportunity to work for the same company same job profile and job code but in a different city. The new city falls under the same Metropolitan statistical area. Do I still need to re file my perm and I 140 in addition to H1b amendment ?

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus has sent a letter to the President asking him to terminate the controversial 287(g) program that allows local police to enforce immigration laws on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security. Hello Gurus,
Can we apply for H1 if our I-485 is pending while the current status is L1.
The reason I am asking is I-485 is itself a COS and if we apply H1 while on L1 it is again an COS petition from L1 to H1. So what happens to the I-485 application?:confused:
Will there be any impact or no impact at all?:mad:
Is there an option to apply without asking for COS when applying H1 with the current status as L1.:confused:
Please help with your views....

I got H1 this year. I was applied my ssn on oct 9 th. still i didn't get my ssn number. two days back ssn people called and told that "in online it is showing your EAd card. so we can give u ssn if you bring the EAD card". My question is if i give my EAD, will the h1 get cancelled. please suggest me.

Hello,
My firm is about to start greencard processcing for me and this is the first time that they are undergoing this process. They are searching for letter templates which decribes the employee eligibility and responsibilies in the firm and why they want to recommend greencard for this perticular employee. If anybody can upload such kind of templates/documents, that would be of greater help.

It all depends on what format your 2d image is in. If it is in AI or EPS, you can automatically import the image into Swift 3D and animate it. If it is a JPG or GIF, you might have a few more steps before importing into Swift 3D.
Take your image and import it into Flash. Export the Flash animation as AI (adobe illustrator) by going to File | Publish Settings | File Types tab. Check the AI box and then publish the movie. The image will be exported in the AI format. From the AI format, you can import into Swift 3D and animate with no limitations.

I have already filed my I-485 in Aug 2007. My employer is moving to a new office space in the same city. It is almost 2 miles from where I'm working now. Do I need to notify USCIS of this change? If so, how would I do it? Could anyone please suggest.
