But if your form is signed with today's date then doctor might want you to take blood work again as they are no longer invalid if they are more than 1 yr old.

Or you guys think I should go ahead and stamp a visa (too much hassel/time/money involved though)?

To all,
If your EAD is not expiring soon (within 10 days) and your EAD renewal is still pending, there is chance that your expedited request may not be processed at all.
THis is what happened with my Wife's EAD renewal.
My Wife's EAD is set to expire on Sept 4th and was in a danger of loosing her job, if she didn't have her new EAD in time. There was no word/status_updates about her pending EAD renewal for the past 2 months. Complicating things further she only recently received FP notice.
We contacted our lawyer and she said that we are not eligible to file an expedited case as it is not even pending 90 days, but she did advise us to give it a try.
So, my wife called USCIS on August 26th (promtly at 8:00AM) and gave all the details to the Rep. Rep said that she will expedite the case and wait for 5 days to get a response. She said that they will send an email, if USCIS requires additional documents and also asked us not call again within 5 days.
Surprise, surprise, The very next day, her EAD case status got updated with a message "Card Production ordered......."
Usually, there would be "EAD approved" message followed by Card production ordered. However, in this case, they directly jumped to "Card production ordered..."
My Advise is to call USCIS, if your EAD is set to expire in just few days. They can do many things out of way to help out.

I think other simple RFE is for medicals. We just have to mail the envelope provided by Civil surgeon along with the cover page sent by USCIS as part of RFE.
The cover page they sent us includes
1> Officer #
2> CUD ( They should receive the mail on or before this date)
3> Form # ( I-485, I-140 etc)
4> File #: A # if available
5> Receipt #: receipt # for the form # above
6> Address to which the document should be mailed.
I didn't see any bar code as one poster suggested.

I am planning to go on a Hawaii cruise on the Norwegian Cruise line ship (Pride of America) which is registered in the US. My H1-B visa has expired but my I-94 is valid. The Cruise ship only visits islands in Hawaii and embarks/disembarks in Hawaii.
Do I need to worry about my visa stamping or just the Passport with valid I-94 and drivers license should suffice?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

The major grievance of people on H1 was their spouses cannot work and when the ruling came into effect that the time spent on H4 will not be counted and a new 6 year term is possible, H4s massively applied for H1, and this year�s H1 quota was over on the first day itself and then the lotto! Now when the H1 is approved they are too chicken and do not want to work!
They have taken away these most coveted H1 visa numbers from qualified professionals who wanted to come and work in this country. Please don�t do this next year!

Other relevant details in my case is that my wife's ead/ap application was filed on 2nd July. and She is under Adjustment of Status (485) as a derivative. On a second thought, I am not sure if this is the same case as yours.

I can't find any reference on this forum to E2 investors. We are the skilled, motivated entrepreneurs who come here, invest heavily, employ citizens and have no path to permanent residence. Our children must return to their country of origin at age 21, regardless of how long they have lived here. We ourselves must renew our visas regularly and live in fear of denial.
E2 investors need support in our quest for reform. Is there any room in your organization for us? We will go anywhere and do anything to raise awareness of the injustice of the current immigration laws. The DREAM Act was (thankfully) defeated yet again and should continue to be defeated until it includes all immigrant children, not just illegals.
Those of us who come here legally should be at the top of the list when it comes to reform. Can we band together to make our voice even louder?

I just read about someone in San Fernando who killed his family and himself because he didn't have a job.
Please reach out to your friends in times of difficulty....the world is not going to end if you don't have a job OR if you there are delays in getting your GC..the world is a wonderful place and still full of opportunity - to add value, to help others etc...you may need to reach out to your friends for help to find your calling or the next opportunity....please don't be desperate....and please ask for help. we all have so many things to be happy and thankful for...

People discuss Visa Bulletins to no end, but why don't they pick up a pen and paper to DO SOMETHING that will render Visa Bulletins virtually meaningless ("ability to file I-485 without PD being current")?
Here is an additional few things that the IV Core could do to ease the PAIN of the several individuals (not the GC pain, the mailing out of the letters pain)
1) Arrange a door to door bus service to pick up the letters from people.
State chapters: CHOP CHOP what are u waiting for, lets get those buses moving!
2) While they are at it maybe the IV voluneteers can also vacuum people's apartments, wash up their pets, potty train the kids, do the dishes the whole 9 yards.
State chapters: WHY are you still glued to ur rears, where is my own personal volunteer??
3) Since IV has unlimited funding, maybe it can also Overnight FedEx all these letters to the White House.
State chapters: Sigh! (Forget it!)
