Canadian-born Justin Bieber is today's selection in honor of my teenage daughter who went with her girlfriends to hear the 16 year old singer here in Memphis over the weekend. Bieber has the distinction of being the first artist to have seven songs from a debut album listed on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time and his second album debuted at #1 on the charts. Hi,

If a person travels on AP, he will get a new PAROLE I-94 which shows expiry date of 1 year from the day he entered on AP. Can the person stay in US AFTER that expiry date and continue working using a valid I-797?

Hi,
I have changed to a new employer using AC-21 recently. I have pro-actively sent AC-21 documentation (new offer of employment, covering letter and supporting docs) to USCIS. Ever since, I am checking my case online. Its about 3 months now that I have sent this info and there has not been any update/LUD on my 485 case so far. I am not sure if my I-485 case has details about my new employment.
I am currently doing my EAD renewal. I am thinking if it will be possible to indicate to USCIS about my new employment. Can you please advice on -
a) if it is wise to do so?
b) How can it be done?

Technically, You AOS application provides you status. So, unlike on H1b, you can be without a job for a long strech of time. The problem arrives, when there is an REF on your I-485 application to show proof of offer. If you can show proof of employment, you should be fine. But, There is a possiblity that USCIS might ask you for recent paystubs or W2s. So, I wouldnt be without a job for too long.
At least this is my understanding of it. Anyone differing from this opinion?

I was on F1 visa and applied for my GC / I485 thru my spouse few years back. Unfortunately while coming back from India 3 years back, I used my stamped F1 visa instead of AP. My lawyer told me that due to this, I have abondoned my AOS and he has to withdraw my 485 and refile it when it will be current. Few days back spouse became current and attorney was preparing to apply for 485 again but in USCIS the status of my application was still shown pending not withdrawn. To our surprise, we saw 2 GC in the mail and the online status was shown approved. But the attorney is saying that we should re-file the 485 since USCIS did not withdraw my application and approved it. They says that I might have issues if my absence is detected when I will apply for citizenship later. Please suggest. I am so puzzled and tensed..

I'm A medical student who has come to do a 1 month internship(Clinical Elective) at a University on a F-1 visa valid till mid may 2009 .My internship here ends at the end of march. I have also 2 internships(cliinical electives) scheduled for the month of May and June as well at ANother University . The main problem is that the other univ require me to be on a B-1 and not on a F-1 . My present school has called them and requested them but they rejected the plea. They want me on B-1 . Now my question is that "Can I change my status from a F-1 to a B-1 while in US" - I have a valid visa which is not yet expired .
It would be appreciated if u can tell me about the forms that I shall need to fill in for the same ? Do I need to hire an attorney for it ?

I worked for a company A from Dec 2005 to Feb 2007 and then I switched employers, and I was between projects. The next company I started working for gave me an offer letter only when I found a project (May 2007). So technically there is a 2 month gap. Even the experience letters from that company says I have started work from May 2007.
I'm not sure if this will cause a problem in my I140 stage. Kindly advice.
I have changed two companies after that and I'm filing my GC through the current company. Any response will be much appreciated.

Hi,
I'm trying to bend text into a circle. I want the text to be standing up and then to spin the camera around the outside of the text.
Is there anyway I can bend the text in swift 3d into a circle or do I need to produce each letter seperately and then rotate and position?
Or, can I import the bent (circular) text from another application then 3d ify it in swift 2.0 ?

I am resident of CA and have my I140 application approved from Nebraska. My I485 application was filed in TSC. Is this a issue since according to USCIS, CA residents should file in the NSC. Will my I485 will be rejected because of this issue.

Is it possible to request to expedite EAD processing?
My EAD I765 application was done along with I485.
I was on H4 visa and doing my Masters. I got interviewed with a company and they offered me a full-time job. For work-permit, I decided to move to F1 visa and utilize CPT/OPT. In the mean time my spouse GC PD became current and I had to withdraw the H4 to F1 change of status application to file for AOS/EAD/AP.
The EAD seems will take quite some time and I am not sure my employer would like to wait that long. So can I request to expedite my EAD processing ? It has NOT been 90 days and I have the receipt notices of my AOS/EAD/AP application.
Any experiences ..any advice ?:confused:
